Section 8 gets Mojo workin'Tuesdays
There are many reasons to drop by the weekly R&B jam hosted by Ricky Day and the Section 8 band at Oriental Taste 329 Queen St E Toronto. The group Harpist Aaron “Willie” Kazmer, drummer Animal Pearson, new bassist Marcus Walker and guitarists Dave “Bluetone” Relf and Dave “Rockit” Edie are a talented and very versatile bunch capable of backing an A-list singer like Day on Blues or Pop Rockers like Angie P.

Section 8 is fast becoming a great force in the Blues scene in Toronto, with fans from all over the world. They have proven that they are going to be around for a long time! With there great rhythms and energetic show. From the legendary vocals of Ricky Day to the killer beats of Animal Person, the play between the two guitar players Dave “Rocket” and Dave “Bluetone” Relf, which is seamless and the down home harmonica sounds of Aaron “Willie” Kazmer. This is a band that will take you from the Motown sounds all the way back to the deep south and right up to Chicago but in there own original way.
You can catch Section 8 every Tuesday night at there house gig in Toronto,Ontario, Canada @ Oriental Taste located at 329 Queen St East. Show starts at 9:30 and it is always free.
