I came to love the character. I worked so hard at memorizing my lines that I found that I actually could think separate thoughts as I said the lines. Having everything go wrong that could go wrong. Although they had cue cards (which had never occurred to me), everyone else forgot lines. But through it all, I said my lines and acted. I felt validated by the response and acclaim that we received.”
