Bands beginning :

The beginning ; rooted in Columbia, SC  the first sign of any sort of band came in my parents garage at

1114 Castle Pinckney Road  in the year of 1977. Then there were four, Jeff Britton on Drums ;  Tex Currie

on Bass guitar, Clyde Bucannon would join us occasionally on lead guitar, and I rounded out the troup on

guitar. It soon became a threesome as Tex and Jeff and I played parties and hammered out music in the

garage. Then we were known as WIZZARD.

Band influences :

The primary influence through out the years has been Southern Rock though I have done some studio work for other artists and can easily adapt to most any genre. I cross over to Alt. Rock/Atl. hip hop/Country/R&B/Blues "what ever feels good play it".

Growing up I was really influenced by the following artists in no particular order.

Lynyrd Skynyrd, KISS, Stevie Ray, STYX, ZZ Top, Hendrix, Dire Straits, Kid Rock, George Jones, Most all the big hair bands from Bon Jovi, Warrant, Skid Row, Motley Crew, Ratt, Poison and I could name several others that over the years have influenced my craft . Snoop Dogg included.

Today :

Today it's more of a solo thing, song writing, music production, and studio work on the side. A gun for hire so to speak. Yeah, a steel stringed gun,  a black and white Stratocaster.

Though the road still calls ,the time for touring and doing the stage thing are far behind me now.
