Q: How do you compose your music?

A: There are various methods I use: 1) I have a melody in my mind, and I lay it down first, then accompany it with layers. 2) I have a chord progression that I improvise, loop it and then layer improvised lines over it. 3) I arrange it "out of the computer" first, by creating accompaniment and lead lines. 4) I listen to a lot of instruments/rhythms/loops, etc. and choose something that hits my mood...then I improvise over it... And so on and so on and scooby doobie doobie.
