Bio
RAW DOG is an experimental/country/rock project that was created in 2006 by founding members BIG D and MK5, also of the Raleigh punk band SIXTEEN SHOT CLIP. The group was an outlet for their non-punk rock ideas.
In March of 2007, ANA MONZON joined the group, in order to contribute female vocals. One year later, the band went into the studio to record their debut album, RABID. It was released in July of 2008. In October of that year, ILL BILL, from Durham's punk band, DEAD TO SOCIETY, joined the group on bass guitar. Currently, the band is writing new material and plans to start recording in early 2010.
Thanks for the support,
