Bio

I'm the Lead Writer for the popular tech blog Black Web 2.0. I'm into anything techy, but also love creating music. I'm into all genres and my lyrical word-smithery is second to none. I could possibly be not only the voice of a generation, but the voice of all generations.

About

I'm a self-proclaimed geek and social media addict who happens to be a pretty good singer, rapper, writer, and producer. I'm also the Lead Write at Black Web 2.0 (http://blackweb20.com). You can link up with me there or at my personal website at http://sheenonline.biz.

I was born on a military base somewhere in California. I was raised on the mean streets of Flatbush in Brooklyn, NY. My teachers all agreed that I had a great imagination, but had a problem with authority and I was often in trouble. Grades came easy, though.

My brother and I were always into dancing and singing. We watched the making of thriller every day after walking home from school and knew every lyric and dance step. We even used an old tape-recorder to make our mother an album for one mother’s day.

At 12yrs old, my mother moved us to Atlanta, GA. She thought that the crime rate was lower and we would have a better chance of getting a good education. Somebody told her wrong because the schools were more violent and the education system was nothing to be excited about.

It was hard adjusting, but this only helped to further diversify my eclectic musical tastes. Most of my closest high school friends were fans of bands like Nirvana and Rage Against the Machine, but they also enjoyed Bone Thugs~n~Harmony, DMX, and even the occasional r&b track. At this point, I'm probably one of the best rappers you'll ever hear who also happens to play guitar and sing his ass off. I produce and engineer my own music, but only as a necessity. If you want to slide me somebeats, I'd be grateful and give you full credit.

Become a fan and join the mailing list if you want to be part of the movement. I'll be sharing exclusive tracks there to try and get valuable feedback from you. I definitely won't be spamming you often, though. You can also hit me up on any of the sites I've linked here. I stay connected and would love to hear from you directly.
