We sing our dreams!
The Pox Family Singers show up now and again at shows in Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh to lend spirit and credibility to otherwise potentially disastrously dull events.
The Singers feature and have featured members of the following bands: Schooner, The Rosebuds, Erie Choir, North Elementary, Audubon Park, Evil Wiener, Gerty!, The Sames, Roxxotica, Tennis and the Mennonites, Torch Marauder, Hotel Motel, The Sleepies, The Experts, and more.
The debut was at the release party for The Sames' "You Are the Sames," where the singers sang "I Started a Joke."
They've also sung at a release party for Pleasant, at two Pin Projekts, and at the final performance of The Sames, where their rendition of "Changes" touched more than a few susceptible hearts.
The has been talk of recording an album of originals, and a few of the Singers have begun composing the songs, but it's a slow process, so keep your pants on.
