Since she was 9, Phee and her brother Dazz would ride around Charlotte freestyling whenever their cousin Marcus visited. She had no idea this would become important later in life.
Raised on soul, rock, jazz, and alternative she didn't delve into hip hop until her jr year of college when Klass and Spark of SVC caught her at an open mic session.
