Phat Man Dee will be teaching a workshop on songs to help empower ourselves and chant together around the fire. This is what the event organizer says: Hello all you beautiful wise women. Once again we will be offering our women's weekend here at Hawkwind. November 7th, 8th and 9th. For the past two years we focused on aspects of the Maiden...we cried, we laughed, we healed old wounds and left behind the baggage we no longer chose to carry in order to prepare our way for the next step. Therefore, this year we move to Aspects of the Mother. This will include talking circles, sharing, gathering and growing, art process project and ritual. Great foods from local farmers and soo sooo very much nurturing...after all that is what the Mother does best. Please keep your eyes, your ears and your hearts tuned for more information as we gather up the pieces to make this again an amazing experience. All women are welcome whether you were here for the last two events or not. Bring a friend. Join the circle. Together we are strong. Together we are awesome!! Meals will include light snack Friday evening, 3 meals Saturday and Breakfast Sunday with leftovers for lunch or before you head home. And yes we do have an amazing cook lined up for this. A love offering for the cook would be greatly appreciated. Sunday we finish up around noon and if you wish you may join Hawkwind in our monthly community Sweat Lodge. Please bring a pot luck dish or something to share for that.
