Bio
Combining groove-laden funky soul and folky hand crafted acoustics, singer/songwriter Paulo Silva has started to gain wider attention with his original and traditional Brazilian music tinged with Western flavour.
Paulo Silva lived in Brazil until the age of 26 when he moved to Australia. Since then, he has experimented his South American musical roots in his new environment. The result is the coming together of Brazilian soul, emotion and playfulness with iconic western musical styles from inspirations like Blind Willie Johnson, Hendrix and Ben Harper.
