I am so glad to be offered the chance to do a support slot for Bruce Molsky, one of America’s foremost folk musicians, playing fiddle, guitar and banjo and singing too. Bruce is closely identified with Old-Time Appalachian music but takes on board influences from Delta blues to the haunting modal strains of Irish music to the rhythmically nimble sounds of Eastern Europe. His many credits include TV’s Transatlantic Sessions and Andy Irvine’s (whom I have also been lucky enough to support!) band Mozaik.

Delighted to be part of the very first BAMfest - a three-day family-friendly acoustic music festival taking place in the North Yorkshire market town of Bedale between Friday May 31 and June 2, 2013.. Its going to be a great weekend! I will kick off my participation in the festival with a Friday night performance in the White Bear.

Delighted to be playing BAMfest (Bedale Acoustic Music Festival) - a three-day family-friendly acoustic music festival taking place in the North Yorkshire market town of Bedale between Friday May 31 and June 2, 2013. On Saturday afternoon, Bedale will be alive with a “carnival” of sounds indoors and outdoors – I’ll be making my contribution to the music and the songs with my second performance as part of BAMfest at the Big Sheep.
