Yasser Tejeda & Palotre is a Dominican fusion band founded by Yasser Tejeda (bandleader, composer and guitar player), Otoniel Nicolas (drums and percussion), Juamy Fernandez (percussion) and Luis Feliz (Bass). Theirs is a fusion of Dominican roots/folkloric music such as merengue, palo, gagá with jazz, blues, rock, funk, and reggae among other genres. Yasser Tejeda’s compositions respect the form and color of each style as they also boldly experiment with an emerging style named Dominican jazz.
