"..Blue Haven secured the audience like a fastball into the catcher’s mitt.. When Blue Haven arrived, it brought the event to life.. Was comprised of 3 members from the Jill Montoro set (Jill herself & the bearded rocker now wearing a jester hat). The jester hat was indubitably relevant, being symbolic of this man’s wild & eccentric stage persona. The front man (Noel Hornung) strummed his electric guitar furiously, shredded his solos, & projected a suave showmanship. The drummer was loud, which was key, & the crowd was now loud (also key). Jill & Noel shamelessly shared harmonies & vocals, making their entire repertoire more addicting with each tune. The music was fun, it rocked, & I want to see it again..Blue Haven was definitely my personal highlight.. I thoroughly enjoyed each band that graced the stage that night, some more than others, but ultimately I walked away from the National in anticipation of my next chance to dance the night away with Blue Haven"
