There are a lot of punk bands out there that try to capture the sound and spirit of the original punk movement and few of them do it as well as A Pretty Mess. This band roars like a caged animal and has an aggressive bite of early 80's hardcore. The guitars have a rough metallic edge, while the bass and drums thrash and groove. The vocals have a razor gargling fierceness and are delivered with an anguished howl. ”

Called "A Pretty Mess" This 4 girl quartet is extermely talented, A cross between The Dollyrots, and the Runaways they bashed out their set with pure AUTHORITY, with DMESS on guitar and lead vocals, Meghan on bass, Mel on Drums, and Nancy on lead guitar, all girls lending a hand on vocals, they just had me and the crowd in the palm of their hands. With songs like Speed, Shiver, Going Nowhere Fast, and Despair. They kicked Ass. These girls are "HARDCORE" Another highly recommended must see band.”
