Jacuzzi Fuzz / Press

“Jacuzzi Fuzz’s new album The Best Worst-Case Scenario has lots of great rock moments, with rapid-fire guitar licks, funky bass grooves and hard-hitting drum beats. At the same time, a lot of the album is pretty relaxing to listen to, with songs like Vibrance and Saturation, and Opium Den. Andy Clavijo’s vocals sound great, even when he’s singing cryptic lyrics like, “Our economy isn’t free it costs dollars,” on the last song of the album, It’s Only Right. My favorite tracks of the album were one and ten, which were actually the same song – Milton’s Revenge, and a dub mix of it. It’s got a great guitar hook, and a good beat too, a catchy tune – I can see why the band chose this one to remix. Jacuzzi Fuzz has a versatile sound that can be in your face or laid back just chillin’ next to you on the couch, and the band sounds pretty good in both modes. ”

““Last December, Miami-based Jacuzzi Fuzz released their excellent new album, The Best Worst-Case Scenario, on Treehouse Records. This reggae- and rock-infused band has created a highly enjoyable 11-track album, beginning with the ear-catching guitar riff on “Milton’s Revenge.” Fans of Sublime, Nirvana, Rx Bandits and Bob Marley alike will find appeal in the sound of Jacuzzi Fuzz. The guitar work on the album showcases excellent musicianship, so much so that I’m kind of aching to watch them play live. The band really has found the perfect balance between the energy of rock and the beat of reggae… …The well-rounded quality from start to end of this record is well worth checking out…I was impressed by the lyrics, which tops off the impressiveness of these guys. With one part thoughtful lyrics, one part awesome instrumental, and one part reggae magic that takes you right to the beaches of Miami, listeners won’t be disappointed by The Best Worst Case Scenario.””

“The theme of "Life," a song by the Miami band Jacuzzi Fuzz, is to stop taking life so damn seriously all the time. "To hear "Life," a song from the band's forthcoming album, The Best Worst-Case Scenario, visit myspace.com/jacuzzifuzz”

“Jacuzzi Fuzz filled me up with musical bubbles and left my head bobbing to their great groove.”

“Jacuzzi Fuzz has an unusual name that matches their unique sound...But the buzz these days is more about their music than the name...The band has been attracting a steady fan base with a mix of reggae, grunge and rock since 2002...JF is preparing to head into the studio for a full-length CD. ”

“...Up next was Jacuzzi Fuzz. Their excellent musicianship was obvious from the get-go. They blended their reggae sound with rock, and made it work beautifully. The band's lead singer, Andy, had a great voice. JF had the most relaxed vibe...The crowd seemed to enjoy their performance a lot...”
