I'm diggin' that bit of The Sunfire Song! You should totally finish that up, but I would keep that raw / Lo-Fi vibe. I really dig it! Keep on groovin'!
I see so many talented artists out there who settle for a basic 'clicky clacky' drum track and it drives me crazy, my advice would be to go hunting for the meatiest, phattest drum sounds you can possibly find, FREESOUND.ORG is a great library of excellent sounds, try typing in key words and phrases such as "Phat drum sounds", "Funky drum loops", "Phat drum loops" etc, you might be surprised by what you find.
I might add that ALL my beats are constructed from scratch from the phattest single hit drum sounds, I NEVER use sampled loops!!!
