'Groove's Bag'--Smooth, can hear Vince in this one. Sax player had a great Lydian Chromatic thing goin' in the solo, maybe a Berklee influence? 'Five Little Stars'--great 5/4 tune, always think of Brubeck. '7 ate 9' was one of my favorites,, love the groove. Does the title come from the chords, the meter or both, or neither one? 'After Hours Blues'--nice 12 bar, loved the barroom rolls. Group is nice and tight.
