THE KITS SELECTED FOR LIVERPOOL SOUND CITY AND AUSSIE BBQ SHOWCASES The Kits are pleased to announce that they have been selected as one of the artists to feature at this years Liverpool Sound City (LSC) festival. LSC takes place from 19th – 22nd May and features a host of new and established artists including The Fall and Archie Bronson Outfit. The Kits are playing their festival showcase on Wednesday 19th May at Bumper. The band has will also be playing the LSC Aussie BBQ showcase on Sat 22nd May at Heebie Jeebies. Further to their LSC showcases, The Kits have also been invited to play The Aussie BBQ London (featuring a selection of Australian bands from LSC and The Great Escape festival) which takes place on 16th May at Cargo (Shoreditch, London). The Kits released debut album ‘Primitive Tales’ through Dirty Water Records in 2008. The Black Lips and Dirtbombs inspired group have recently been recording tracks with producer Chris Bailey (The Saints). Melbourne formed, now London-based, these Australian garage rockers are currently promoting their new single 'Salvation' which comes out on 1st June. Late 2010 will see the release of their second album ‘Lead Us Into Temptation’.
