Thank you! Nice meeting you as well. If you will Google, "Ken Goldsmith Rodeo Man", you will see a very well produced music video on YouTube which is an original song, somewhat autobiographical of my growing up in the area riding in rodeos, making bad choices like choosing rodeo over the right girl! My oldest son is playing the younger version of me. The video depicts me reflecting back on those rodeos days.
Ken, I really enjoyed reading your Bio. It gave me a boost as I've always wanted to sing all my life but couldn't. Just didn't have the talent and play no instruments. My love for music is extraordinary. I have been afforded a blessing by God when the small country church I attend lost it's song leader and had no way for music as there wasn't anyone who played. My pastor looked me in the eye and said "Will you do it?" I didn't hesitate as God pushed me forward. My husband is very good as a sound tech, has always been in electronics during his long tenure with the Railroad. He set up music, I downloaded hymns, then all at once I found myself doing what I'd always wanted. I sang. Thank you for your encouragement to others. You have a tremendous talent. I have a tremendous yearning for God to bless me with talent. I'm at least in the midst and not in the shadows. God Bless you. At 69 I'm finally doing what I've always wanted. Still have a problem with self confidence so I just give it to God.
Dena,
Thank you for your kind words. You are a true blessing to so many in the traditional country and western swing world.
Music is medicine for the soul. Keep singing and thank you for encouraging me to do the same.
