thx a lot... I have more than 1000 original songs written, but only a few of them ( about 30, excluding instrumental stuff - they're all here, from the early 90s up to 2011 ! ) have been recorded yet... the prob is: I can't record singing at home, I'm relying on live-recordings and, when I get a gig, the organizers expect me to play a large amount of covers to keep the people entertained with stuff they're familiar with. That's due to my many years of playing the streets - I'm trying to fulfill expectations in order to make a living, so my own stuff - though usually well received - gets a bit neglected... I usually play 2 to 5 ( of normally 30 Songs per Gig ) of them only, in order not to overburden anyone's concentration - it may be my fault but I must say I love the songs I'm playing no matter who wrote them... my personal favourites being "Beautiful Thing" and "The straight Way"... cheers from Freiburg/Germany Roop
