Hi DJ, I'm really am glad to meet you. I went to your website and am very impressed with your music! If I may I am curious to learn what you liked about my song Shut-up? Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am 55 and have always loved music but I am unemployed, have been for 5 years, you know that "over-qualified" thing we hear about... So I am currently shooting the teaser for our movie Lost Angels and have approached A-list talent for major roles, Bruce Willis' agent Michael Kives at CAA is one whom I've been dealing with now for about a year. My current "hang-up" so to speak is funding as you can imagine. Well I'm sure you also know that most movies are made from popular books. What they don't tell you if you are a writer is the middle man, literary agents, are very elitist and very hard to obtain representation from when you're an unknownn. So I am using my music, or trying to, to build a fan base for our movie Lost Angels. The "bankers, investors" that bankroll movies look at popularity to determine if the book or story has enough "public" appeal to bankroll. Shut-Up is the second song I've written ever, the first song I wrote last May is on my website: www.LiquidIceEnt.com titled After Midnight. After Midnight is not engineered, I wrote it on a keyboard. You click on my titling video for Lost Angels and will hear a couple of bars. Last week I made a ringtone of Shut-Up! at Myxer.com which I have a widget again at our website's homepage. I'm sharing all of this with you in hopes that you might tell your friends about my music, and hopefully my project Lost Angels. I hope that if you guys there like it enough it will help me here. At 55 I shouldn't be considered "Old" and therefore unemployed. It's rediculous. But it is my reality currently so if you would be so kind as to share my tunes with those you know I'd appreciate it.
