Floating Roach - The White Wooly Wolf

For all of you that were not aware floating Roach's album (That was recorded in late 2008 - early 2009) will finally be released digitally through skwozjamm records as of June 1st 2011.

The Much anticipated release contains 11 Unreleased tracks that the band were gigging live just before their untimely demise in early 2009. The cd is a much more professional and hard-hitting release then there debut (flop) album "Enjoy" and promises to pack a punch from start to finish.

The cd opens with massive pick slides followed by the 200+bpm onslaught of "I wanna be a racecar driver" from the opening chords you can tell that the band has stepped up since previously releases in all aspects. The annoying whine of their passed lead guitar/vocalist nick leslie is gone from the band and has been replaced by the duel vocals or Mark Wightley and Adam "Wolf" Sutherland which features well on tracks like "not the one" and "wiz kid".

Matt Woolhouse replaces Shane turville on drums and brings a different feel to the band aswell.

"Shane was my friend..... he played drums for us coz no one else would.... He hated punk and just did it for me and I thank him for that.... his new bands are doing good as for him and I wish him the best.... Matt is the drummer I wanted to play for floating roach... our first jam was me, him and nick.... I'm glad he played on this cd... Shane was never really part of floating roach on the band side of things he just came in and kick snare kick kick snared every song.... which is what nick forced him to do anyway.... but Matt brought a new level to the band" - Mark Wightley (Bass/vocals)

Matt Woolhouse even shows off his vocal skills on the track "Hot Chix" and back ups in most songs on the whole cd.

All in all the white wooly wolf was a massive step up for floating roach and its about time its released for people to hear.
