JS-Piracy

Piracy self-titled album to be promoted via live L.A shows.

Piracy would like to thank Shep Stern for taking us into Stagg Street studios in Van Nuys. We cut a very rough but ENERGETIC demo @ Stagg Street Studios in Van Nuys, CA. We were in frm the 27th to the 29th of December. Big thanks to our engineer, Jun Murakawa for his support and patience through the whole ordeal. He was a wiz behind that vintage API board. He came out with a great mix! We recorded on 2" BASF 900 Studio Master tape, and bounced over to pro tools for the mixing stage. Although this is still a digital format, the difference in sound from recording to the Studer and straight to protools was tremendous. We thought it would not do our music justice to merely go straight to digitizing it, so here you have our 8 song demo. All songs recorded at Stagg Street Studios except "House on Haunted Hill". Produced by Shep Stern and Piracy Engineered and mixed by Jun Murakawa @ Stagg Street Studios-Van Nuys, CA December 27-29th, 2010 Enjoy! -Piracy
