About the RetroSpectra songs

RetroSpectra#1 is recorded exclusively with guitars (except for the vocals of course) - even the tapping rhythm is made by a guitar. Very Lo-Fi. The lyrics contained here are the 'Official' version; there is a 'Personal' (original) version too, but the lyrics turned out a bit TOO personal. Describing 'a phase long overdue' in detail wouldn't contribute much to the song - at least not in any constructive way... . RetroSpectra#2 starts up in the same manner as #1, but grows away from the by-guitar-only approach as it proceeds. The lyrics turns out to do the same (in a wider sense)... . There were more parts planned, but we'll leave it just like this at least for a while ... maybe the RetroSpectra suite will be continued (musically that is... in other ways it IS already continued, as you might have noticed) and maybe even uploaded here too - we'll just have to wait and see what will happen to it. . (And yes, it's retrospective. In many ways.)

About the missing whistling

One of the songs that would need a makeover, don't want to remove it completely though... but that whistle just creeped us out every time! We removed that, but left the rest of the song intact - we'll see what happens with it in 'the future'.

(But hey, the curse jinx trauma whistlers are finally gone!

And feel free to comment on everything in this blog!)

About the acoustic JivatmaField

We recommend you to create a three-song-playlist in this fashion: . 1/ theField 2/ Jiva(Jivatma) 3/ the JivatmaField . The first two songs are already connected lyrically, and the final song makes them connected musically too. Elegant, isn't it?

About the Friday Night Video

To celebrate our 1000:th visitor - here's the video for FridayNightDisco!

Filmed completely by a cellphone camera:

It's FRIDAY. It's NIGHT.

...and, yeah, we almost forgot - it's DISCO.

About the cover tune

No, we're not a metal band nor a cover band - this one is just a kind of tribute to the music we grew up with... And, of course, we wanted to see if it could be done completely without any distorted guitars, and with some nice rhythms added to it also. How it turned out? Well, just listen to it - it's alternative!

About the songs so far

Blue Sun comments on Jivatma: . - A pop song linking to the old Veda philosophy, it was simply over due! . the Project comments on Amplitude 36: . - Well, I'll tell it like it is; Lazarus has re-entered the building.
