My songs are like snapshots of my life and times. When I wrote “15 Minutes” the title track to my album 15 Minutes,the virtual revolution was occurring and music life was quickly moving on line making it easier to become noticed by the world both visually and audibly. I was looking at current trends and foreseeing not only the possibility of us all getting our 15 minutes of fame, as predicted by Andy Warhol, but that we may become jaded by it and wish to simply kick back and chill on a sofa someplace and be the audience. I’m not there yet and in fact I have the opposite of stage fright. I fear being in the audience. Perhaps someday I’ll become secure enough with myself to sit back and enjoy.
