So thrilled first that the remaster came out so amazing that the song had to be re-released and that it has been met with great appreciation by fans. THANK YOU!!!

It's what most musicians crave. I used to. Now it is different. I crave satisfaction from the Lord's creations through me. I have to listen more than play and promote. I find that I do less and "gain" more. What am I gaining? Attention. Attention from other artists and social media. It's a bit of a relief. I have been writing for over 30 years... I search, I seek, not attention directly but it is nice once in a while... thank you Jesus.

What I mentioned in my email sendout today is that what I like and what my "fans" like are most often unrelated. How good does it feel when music you created unexpectedly touches others? How often is it unexpected?
I am a fan of certian songs of mine and as you know that changes over time. I was sure that a re-release of "Nothin' But A Dream" was a no brainer however when I listened to it again it did not have the same penultimate pull that it had on me 20 years ago. Still holds its own though.
A song that has my attention is Destruction Mill. I like the final production. How stripped down and yet illuminating it is. I have gotten some positive feedback as well so that is satisfying.
The unexpected hit of the year for Acoustic Astronaut is "A Gift" which actually is the scratch track from many years back. I did some editing and basic sound engineering on it and now it has been heard around the world with suprising positive feedback.
Again, to my RN fam, keep it going. Looking forward to RN creating a collaborative interface. In the kindtime, never give up, never give in. Musicians Unite!!!

It's cool how some songs just suddenly work out amazing, awesome and perfect even though you try just as hard on all songs, some just jump out. I am particualarly referring to the recording of songs. Some songs just suddenly take on a life of their own in a recording and bam. You have a hit. It's cool. It happened with Celebrate the Love.
