New Times Music Awards Show!

This was the night people. We were honored to be awarded for our song Every Night Blues as top R&B/Blues Recording of 2011. We also played a short set that although did have a shorted mic at the start. nonetheless introduced us to a whole new audience at the Slo Brewing Co. It was an extremely diverse bill (we followed the eventual best act of the night winners Public Defendaz, more on that in the future) and a fun crowd too. Lots of mingling with the local music folk. Nice to see the Red Skunk Gypsy band there..Pics will be coming soon. So many thanks to Slo Brew, 92.5 The Krush, New Times, and everyone who came and helped us celebrate this honor. We'll be back there next year!

A fine jam with all of our friends this past Friday

With Brent out of town for this months show at the Slo Down Pub in Arroyo Grande we invited bluesman Skye Ferguson to come out and sit in along with the great Chuck Roarbach on harp and our good friend Mike Jacob to play on Built For Comfort. When Brad and Jerry took a break, Mike Hocking and Ron Azman helped out and backed Skye on a smokin Cocaine among some other fine jams. And we did a brief preview of a new song we will be debuting at the New Times Music Awards on Oct 13..we're up for 3 awards! Go to the New Times website and vote for us. Thanks to everyone who came out to party with us and please join us at the Slo Brewing Co for the awards show on the 13th!

Xtreme wrapup to the week!

Wow, what a week its been, finished a 2 night stand at the Merrimaker, had a very nice review of the new CD and played Saturday for the Xtreme Beefesr in SLO. Im not even that big of a beer drinker but you couldnt help but find something you like. And the crowd was very nice indeed. Really nice way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon. Slo Down Pub is next! This Friday. Be there or be not as Dangerous. -Brad K.
