Hi everyone, just joined a new site called "MusXpand" promoting local talent here in BC. Check it out*

Small concert venue

I happened upon a small concert venue today that has me thinking that it might be a very nice space to begin singing again. It has been a very long time since I stood in front of an audience and I have missed it very much. I know it will take some work, but there are so few places to perform live these days. Wish me luck*

Long road back

Hi Everyone,

Well, the orthpedic surgeon says that I can start "practicing" to drive my car and that my ankle is on the mend. No more big, plastic cast, and I will have to give up on jogging. Swimming, elyptical machines and the stair master will become my new best friends* Got to lose the weight I gained sitting on my keester this winter. Wish me luck* Have to begin physio and work. Such a luxury to just walk without a cane or a cast. Still have some pain and stiffness, but no more swelling and heat in my ankle. It's a start** Thanks to all those who sent along positive energy to help with the healing* Keep that wonderful music coming and thank you to all my new fans for their support here on RN.

One week to go

Just one more week of wearing this, big, cumbersome, boot cast and hopefully the surgeon with tell me that I don't have to wear it anymore. So looking forward to simply walking in a regular pair of shoes. It has taken almost five months to recover from what seemed like a simple fall. I was only two stairs away from the floor and it was devastating. I have to admit, I did get some much needed rest and will definitely be refreshed and ready to work out again and work* I miss driving my car!!!! public transit is so time consuming and absolutely no fun when it rains. And it rains here, ALOT. All prayers welcome for a complete recovery** Thank you to all my new fans for their support here on RN. It has been heart warming during my recouperation to see new fans discovering my music everyday*

Counting the days

Three weeks and counting. Numerous hours of physio in my future. All the little things we take for granted, like being able to just get up and walk down the street unencumbered. Count your blessings everyday, everyone*

Good News*

HI Everyone,

Got the good news on Friday that I will not be needing surgery on my ankle. The broken cartilage is healing right along with the bone. I can walk around my apt without the boot cast, but will still be walking on the street with my boot cast for the next four weeks. Any progress right now is a good thing* Thank you to all those who offered their good wishes and support. Looking forward to getting healthy and active again*

The Big Day

Hi Everyone, Well tomorrow is the big day. Do I get surgery or not on my ankle? Really hoping that I don't and I can get back on my feet and back to work. All prayers welcome* Also Thank You to all those new fans and visitors to my page here on Reverbnation* Feels good knowing that you are discovering me here* Please stay tuned.

Hop along

Hi Everyone, Turns out I was misdiagnosed before Christmas and wasen't supposed to be walking on my injured ankle at all. I am currently wearing a very ugly, plastic, boot cast on my foot and have met with an orthopedic surgeon. In a week or so they will let me know if surgery is needed. I have been wrestling with this injury for four months now. Such a drag. Everything is on hold, in every way. Not much you can do if you can't use your foot. Please send your positive vibes and prayers. I am supposed to be walking down the aisle in May* Thanks

At LAST

So excited that I will be recording a couple of songs this weekend with Bill Sample. We will be videotaping a couple of tunes in his home. It has been awhile. Bill was one of the piano players on my CD and he is the player on the tune "The Nearness of You". One of my favourite's on the CD.

Looking forward to posting this one. Please stay tuned*
