The Lefty Bates Memorial Jam at the "Slippery Noodle" Sunday evening was a huge success! Over $600 was raised towards the purchase of a grave marker for Lefty! This was one of the best jams sessions I've been to in a very long time!!! Hope you didn't miss it. Many of Lefty's old friends and fellow musicians were there ...to pay tribute to him, and the music was AMAZING!!! Thanks to Vince Mullin and Jay stein for organizing this event, and to the Slippery Noodle for providing a great venue!!! Special thanks to Tim Duffy and all the other musicians for their participation!!!!
A BIG THANK YOU to all the blues fans who came out to pay tribute to Lefty's life and music!, and for their heart felt, generous contributions!
