After some time away, some darkness, some rebirth, some growth, work, rededication and rebuilding, Minty Rosa is back with a whole slew of new songs we are very excited to share.

Is it too early to pensively look back at 2011? This year has seen some major ups and downs for Minty Rosa. Some big highlights have included creating "Pretty Please", a CD of which we are extremely proud (have you heard it?). We played some amazing shows for incredible crowds (none as mind-blowing as Kessler Elementary), and had the honor of winning Rainier's Battle of the Bands at Rainier Days. However, this year has also seen the loss of a practice space, bad car issues, some disappointing scenesterism (yep -- just coined that!) and certainly not least of all, some personal family hardship. What keeps us together is that we are a little family ourselves and we love what we do. We still want to rock for you! Will we see you in December for the next rock extravaganza? Come join us for our final hurrah of 2011. Here's to looking up in 2012!!!

We are wrapping up the final details on artwork and duplication and the new Minty Rosa CD will be ready for you! We are very excited with the outcome and proud to get to share it with all of you. Looks like a CD release show will happen in the early part of August. Stay tuned for details!

The year in Minty Rosa
