It's not easy being a musician in today's market or industry. Especially, since there are now 500 thousand ways to do one thing.
Example: 500 different social platforms to promote and expand; 500 different devices to record or produce certain factors.
Honestly, I miss the old days before the internet got so massive, that now everything you see. Every market, is saturated worse than butter at a local I-Hop.
This has been especially true with music for the past five years. There are millions now. That's good to a degree, but it's dangerous. Granted, music is an experessoin of art, and as the old saying goes, "Each man has a right to a verse."
My point is.... Although, this saying may be true. It doesn't mean everybody, is an artist.
To me an artist require's. Passion, Talent, and Skill. Granted anyone can obtain the skill's to do this game. Although, without passion and talent. Your Nowhere, but a rat trapped in a maze.... or in other words your taking up space.
Space and time, that is deserved for those who truely desire it.... I don't know! To me your number one goal in this business, is to have Fun! Still if that's the only reason your doing it. Is for Fun! Then my friend, that is what Hobbies are for... In short, get out of the way.....
This quit being a hobby for me one year into it. Years ago with my original band Dramacyde: which back then was from 2000-2004. It was my first venture into music where I learned the harsh reality of the business. (took a 2.5 year hiatus; then returned in 2007) It was cut throat then, yet it is far worse now!
Granted I took a hiatus and focused on my other career at the time, which was being an active member in the Military. Which caused me complications. Because, you can't be a soldier and do this at the same time. At least not the kind of soldier I once was: Military Intelligence and Combat Arms.
So I got sucked into deployment after deployment. I got to travel to all forms of the best environment in the world. The Middle East. Afgahnistan, IRAQ, Turkey, Saudi-Arabia, Kurdistan, and shhhh Iran. I finally, got out June 2012. Hanging up my hat for good with that jazz...
I was proud to serve my country, but with the current state and way we are headed. I would rather drink gasoline & piss out a brush fire.
So Music and the art of it... Have always been my secondary. I had my chance for fame with it two times, but remember! I was also a soldier and had to turn it down. Hey that's Life and this Bitch isn't fair...... by no means.
So yes the MORGUE, has been around and on: www.MurderMorgue.com since 2007. Only now is it finally free to roam and cycle the world, like an insane twister!
I have gotten older, but to me age is nothing compared to a goal. I do own and operate D.MORGUE SOUND Studio / Murder Morgue Records; which the website is all about... and I also am the artist whom, is entirely self made: Hex Fallen.
I'm still going when I watched so many artists and bands give up. Even though I feel for them. I also know you can never quit. All that may change over time is the look, feel, and listening form....
Still it is hard in a saturated world full of bullshit and lies. Just because you have never heard of something... Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Also! Having views doesn't mean shit compared to talent and passion. It's all about the live shows and the momentum. True! My momentum has been slow and the shows fewer, but I want the best or best possible outlet for the fan or viewer.
Rather, than throw seeds everywhere pissing everybody off. I would rather carefully select where I plant so that tree's, instead of weeds grow.
In short, There are 500 ways to do 1 thing, but in the end it takes only 1 thing to spark one dream. So let everybody else live and keep on doing 500 ways, while you relish in knowing that One right way, is better than those that keep re-inventing the wheel.... I'm Out!

Patience It's A Virtue!
So many long roads travelled. The last six months. I have been making real connections with my music. I feel good about it. Looks like the Hex Fallen image is about to become a known entity.
The music business, is hard as fuck! It's not for the light hearted. I have been sayin it for years. Still so many think, "Oh well I can buy my shit, Record it, & Get all my Cracked out Drunk Friends to Listen to it! I'm an Artist.... Fuck You! Your a Worm!
As I have said, "It's not an easy business!"
I have always had my eyes on a bigger picture. A larger scene. While still remaining self made. That opportunity, is now arriving.... Remember! Fellow "TRUE" Artists / Bands. Make Real Connections. Not the local idiots in your town or area. Work with people who know & believe your art has a purpose, reason, & it all will exist & flourish.... to the Beyond!!

That's Right! I said it and I truely feel for you if it pisses you off. For years I represented the Wicked Shit per my own form and agenda.
Now! I'm leaving it behind with Hexorcism and focusing on the future. I'm changing and going to represent Hex Fallen, the way it should have been done back in 2007.
I'm tired of trying to appeal to a crowd, that is so phickle right now they are worse than a pack of smokes bein passed around in prison.
My art will always have a heart for the Wicked Shit, but my art needs to grow and be what it was meant to be.... Mine / HEX FALLEN.
I don't live off nuts! I don't care if your a juggalo, Dead folk, Gothic, what ever the fuck you claim.... It's about reaching out to my T.R.U.E.S., those whom all Together . Represent. Underground.
