I love all the music from Woodstock & the era, and Country Joe McDonald was right in the heart of the mix. His anti-war "Fixin' To Die Rag" is an awesome song, and I borrowed his music/lyrics to re-create a new version, especially focused on the Iraq/Afganistan conflicts still going on today. All the credit goes to Country Joe, and this version is dedicated to Jimmy Harpole, Seal Team 6, and ALL of the men & women in our Armed Forces, all around the world, who make freedom ring 24/7/365! Peace 'n Love!! ~Jimi River~

I love the BLUES, and, for some variety to the usual mix, I posted an improv. session with me on harp, jamming with my Fender G-Dec Amp. as the "back-up band"...Keep It Rockin'!!

Lyme River has the pleasure of introducing Mister Greg Berryman, of "Sounds In Silence", who played lead acoustic guitar with me on this improvisational JAM SESSION, recorded March 20th, 2010 in Lyme CT. Greg is one of the most talented musicians I've ever had the opportunity to ROCK with...here's to YOU, Mister B.!!!!
