Fun weekend in and about Williamsburg ... on Saturday a double header of performances at the Watermens Museum Fund Raiser (Chili Cookoff) and then later in the afternoon at the VA Living Museum in Newport News for their fund raiser (Oyster Roast). On Sunday, I was back in Williamsburg performing at a private party ... wow .... what a weekend... Special thanks to all of the great folks at the museums and at the private party!

Yesterday (10/9), I had a great experience of performing at Thomas Nelson Community College - Historic Triangle Campus - in the campus Library. Great expereince! Wonderful lunchtime idea to help students calm down and enjoy a brief 60 minute quiet music set. We were all much calmer for the experience!

On September 23 and 24 I was blessed to be able to be part of the 4th Annual Yorktown Folk Festival. What a tremendous weekend ... it was the best way to celebrate my 62nd birthday with all of the kind folks at the festival. Special thanks to Steve, Mike and Bubba for their hard work in pulling off a huge folk festival ... ther were over 50 performers sharing their music on a beautify weekend on four stages as part of the Watermen's Museum who hosted the outstanding event! I performed last night at the wonderful Williamsburg Library Theater (WLT).. The WLT is one of Williamsburgs BEST concert venues! I had an outstanding audience who were really enthusiastic about the music! Anytime an artist gets to perform in a theater like the WLT, it's just a flat out great experience. This was my 5th year anniversary for concerts I've performed at the WLT. I'm looking forward to performing again in 2018!! Thank you to all of the great folks who came out to enjoy the music and video backdrop. You all made my night.

Had a great experience at Aromas Williamsburg on Friday night and then on Saturday performing at the Watermen's Museum Oyster Roast Fund Raising Event. I closed my weekend in a non musical way visiting my friends at Discover Teas in Newport News as they go through a business transformation and close their shop in October, 2017. I'm going to miss my DT friends. Over the five years I performed quite a bit at DT. Great management, staff and customers always enjoying acoustic instrumental music! Its been an honor performing for the GREAT folks at DT.

2017 Yorktown Folk Festival
