Today has been a day of rest and productivity. I listened more to the music that I have choose for the new project. I have also sold the remaining 75 vinyls today. I am truly blessed to have moved these vinyls which I never though i would sell to a Record collector in France. I am truly amazed at what the Lord has done this day. Today has been a productive day.. I wrote lyrics to one of my songs that Jordan and I picked out for the project the song is titled "Can't Make it".. It is a R&B Jazz ballad for the Lord.. I am truly humbled that the Lord gave me the lyrics and the melody today.. I am looking forward to sharing this new tune with Jordan in another week when we start the process for my first album. The Lord is truly blessing there is another DJ from France wanting my old vinyl records and he has ordered 10. Not sure what is going on in France, but I am truly blessed by the love for my first single (1991)... I pray your Saturday has been a blessed one filled with great things. Today has been a great day and I am truly excited about the weekend. Tonight has been a day of relaxation and quality time with my wife. The Lord is truly moving.. I have 3 DJ's from France wanting copies of my 1992 release of Traffic Jam and If You Love Me... I am truly baffled by the DJ's saying the would like for this old single to be in there collection. I still have vinyl records of them that my Dad kept for me in the garage of my old house. I know the Lord has plan and I am truly watching him open doors in my life. Today has been a great... the revival was amazing tonight. The sermon was very inspirational. Prior to the revival I worked on some of the songs that may possibly be on my first full project.. I am working on a song and excited about where it is going. The Lord is teaching me to be still in this process. There are truly a lot of sharks out there trying to bite me but the Lord has me in a steal cage and it simply is not going to happen... Today has been another blessed day. the revival was great tonight at the Mount Olive Baptist Church. I did get the opportunity today to go over about 4 songs before attending the revival. I am truly excited about the moves that the Lord is about to make. I also received my CD's today so if you would like some please let me know.. I would truly appreciate your support. Today I met with Jordan and he listened to more of my new music. The production of my new project will start in August. We have a list of about 16 yes pile and 14 maybe pile so the project definitely have more than enough tunes to complete my first album. I am truly excited about the new songs and the style change that is going to take place with this project. I had a great time tonight at my Church revival at the Mount Olive Baptist Church.. Today has been a start of a new week and I am truly excited about my meeting with Jordan tomorrow to discuss my upcoming project. I worked on a shell of my new song "Cold" I have 7 songs to let him listen to tomorrow then we are working on a plan to get some music laid down and polished for my first full length album.. The Lord is truly blessing me and I am walking by faith not by sight... I found out today that 6-7 Radio stations from my Radio DirectX campaign have downloaded some of my music. My CD is officially now in CD Baby... I am truly trusting in the Lord and I know that faith without works is dead... so with that said Lord I am taking one step and I know you are going to take 2. Today has been a great day of service My brother in-law Rev. Bradley Forbes preached an amazing sermon today the Message was "Holding on to your dream when others give you Hell about it" (Text: Genesis 37-5-10) The key points was as follows:
1) When God puts something in your heart nothing can stop it. Philippians 1:6
He that begin a work in you shall finish it until the Day of Jesus .
2) He will put the right people in your life to accomplish your goal. Make sure you put your trust in God and let him elevate you.
3) Be careful who you trust with your dream. Your main focus and trust should be in the Lord.
4) Do not let go of your dream even when it seems it is not coming to pass.. You must keep believing God...You know if he is for you who can be against you?
remember if you wait on the Lord he will renew your strength.
5) If you are faithful to him, He will be faithful to you..and remember when you get there to Bless others..and remember the example he has set before us.. With that said... Continue in your dreams.. Today has been a great day and I am truly looking forward to restful weekend after a long week at work.
