Gypsy Carns is an American musician and songwriter. Best known as “The Blues Preacher,” he has witnessed around the world with his Music Ministry and hosts a Bible Study podcast Monday – Friday on several Social Media sites. Carns performs rock-influenced blues music combining powerful words of Jesus Christ and contemporary melodies and instrumentals. He shares real-life lyrics for a blend of Americana music synergized with healing prayer. Gypsy defines his style as “Messianic Blues/Rock.” The Blues Preacher started performing in 1963 and began his recording career in 1966. He is a two-time Grammy Nominee and winner of the Christian Blues Artist of the Year Award. Through his live performances he has anointed the U.S., Japan, France, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, China, Israel and Brazil. Called a “one-man wrecking crew,” Carns plays a stompbox tambourine, kick-drum combination, harmonica, 12-string Dobro and Electric Slide Guitar. His one-man-band career began in 1999 and he went on to record Beale Street Swing, Revelation Blues, G Force and toured France as The General and The French Army. In 2003 his second grandchild was born – Ezra Seale. He later gigged across Amsterdam with his band The Blues Preachers, a 5 piece rock band. He performed solo in clubs and street preached with his stompbox and Dobro. In 2006 he experienced his second sweat lodge and felt the Prophet calling. The Lord sent him around the globe preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ. March in Amsterdam and The Netherlands, July 4th Shanghai, China and August 17th Jerusalem, Israel. In November his most popular Gospel Blues CD was released “Gospel Train Coming.” In 2007 he met his new producer and friend Brad Vosburg recording in Brad’s studio “Fox Mountain” and they continue to work together today. The Watchman was their first project. Gypsy continued touring with the Apostles of Sound and in 2008 moved to Meridian Mississippi. From 2008 through 2020 he recorded several Hard Rock/Metal, Instrumental and Christian CD’s and single releases with Brad. In 2016 his life was changed when he met MACEY MAC, an eleven year old musician whom He would bring to Christ, tour and record 1 EP with. Macey Mac has since moved to Nashville where she is carving out a solo career. In April of 2020 he woke up with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and could not play the guitar for 15 months. He would still develop an idea, write the lyrics and then soak his hands in ice water until they were numb and then record the demo chords on guitar/ vocals. On July 8, 2021 at 2:38pm The Lord healed Gypsy Carns miraculously from the Rheumatoid Arthritis and he could play guitar again. From 2021 to the present time Gypsy Carns continues to write and record music. Several Christian Rock and Gospel Blues albums dominate his present catalog all found on his social media sites. Science, prophecy, religion…what do you believe? Who do you get your information from? There is certainly a tremendous amount of literature, videos and songs on the topic of End Times and 2012.
As I understand it from a scientific point of view, on December 21, 2012, the Winter Solstice, the earth will be in a particular alignment within our solar system that happens only once every 26,000 years. What does that mean potentially? It has been stated that the earth could tilt on its axis, thereby causing catastrophic worldly events.
The Mayan Prophecy is perhaps the most well known of the 2012 prophecies. Many have read into this that it is the end of the world. It is, in fact, stated through much research on this topic that it is the end of a worldly cycle. It is the end of era and the beginning of another. John Major Jenkins has perhaps done the most research on this topic over a period of years. He asserts that through his studies the Mayan prophecy does not predict the end of the world but an end to this current age of ego, killing, greed, and the like and the beginning of a new era where mankind is “enlightened”. *
Religion does have a view on this topic. But in this age the word “religion” is utilized as a watered down word used by mortal man to justify his beliefs. I believe that the Bible was inspired of the Great I AM – God Almighty. His son Jesus Christ makes it quite clear in this written word about the end of time. Jesus and his disciples are talking on the Mount of Olives and they ask Him what will be the sign of the end of the age and His second coming. Jesus states plainly in Matthew 24: 14 – “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” As far as anyone knowing WHEN the end will come Jesus sets the record straight as well in Matthew 24:36 – “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”

If you haven’t figured it out yet, we are in the End Times. Jesus Christ is coming back…very soon. He makes it clear through God’s written word, the bible, that there will come a time in the history of man when the door will be closed. That door is Jesus himself as He states in John 10:7 – Then Jesus said to them again,”Most assuredly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.” He is the Shepherd, we are His sheep. He is the judge of all men, we are the judged. In Matthew 25: 31 & 32 Jesus says: “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” Jesus lays down the basic truth we need to ponder and act on in Matthew 1o: 32, 33 – “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” I don’t know about you, but I believe Jesus Christ came in the flesh and I accept Him as my Lord and Savior.
