Conspiracy Against VA or ....

All the hip hop giants from VA who got their foot in the door either split up/fell apart (if they were groups: Clipse, Timbaland/Missy n company, superfriends) or never got that national push even though they had better songs than other "regional" artists on same/similar labels ... w t f?

Sex Sells ... But Can It Prevent Your Sales too?

Do indie artists hurt or help their inital campaign wen they cater to sexualized promotions....

Does HIPHOP have a responsibility to the Black Community?

There used to be artists like public enemy and poor righteous teachers who at least offered a different perspective but still with entertaining music that could get played at a party or club and have everyone cyked ... the good thing was .. ppl partied and THOUGHT about some shit goin on in their real lives and their community... now adays its all sex, drugs, violence (dont get me wrong i like the music just as much today as any one back then liked that music) but... i feel like there needs to be some more social commentary being brought forth in the music.. i think that there were more ppl being aware of NOT ACTING OUT LIKE A SAVAGE when there was more of a balance.. .what do you think?

DOES SIZE REALLY MATTER?

DOES SIZE REALLY MATTER?

This is a question both genders have. Women want to know if the size of certain body parts matter and so do men, to the opposite sex. The cold hard truth is HELL YES!!! However, men have a way of "getting over" this issue while women tend to try to compensate for the implications of this issue. Men have little choice, it is what it is. Women, on the other hand, can go to a doctor and get implants EVERYWHERE that they think will make them better. Sadly, this happens way too often. But nevertheless, SIZE MATTERS. That is, there are men who only like "small" body frames, and/or body-parts. {No need to get graphic with superfluous street names for human anatomy--you know what we are talking about here...let YOUR imagination run wild if you will} There are men who like "big" etc. The gamut is a full spectrum. The same holds true for women and their predelections for men and their parts, muscles, etc. But the real question becomes how important are these superficial qualities when a relationship is in full swing.

Now most times, online or within certain social areans when men and women do mingle and converse--be it at work, in class, on the bus, at the mall, etc, when women talk about or make posts and ask questions about this issue, like on a facebook or twitter timeline, a plethora of responses that affirm nothing but the most mature responses from men manifest: "size doesn't matter" and "any man who thinks size is that important is immature" ... all comments that men, in hopes of hooking up wiht the woman who poses the question/makes the post, make thinking that might score them some points in that ever so coveted "cookie jar" The truth is not so flattering. But honesty is the best policy!!!! Most of those guys are lieing!

Don't get me wrong, it is not that all men ar lieing, just MOST. Men take women as they are---WHEN they meet them. Size doesn't matter at the beginning--of a relationship! Meaning, if a chick is a "big" size when he meets her, thats cool. A guy will like her regardless. But if later down the road, she DOUBLES-UP -- he will be bouncing (or seriously considering it) If he is not literally going to leave, then at least "socially" he will be back on the open market, meaning he is going to get him something on the side. Supporting Local Entertainment Efforts n We Still Get Hated On

Often times we get too caught up in the "one-ness" of a event/incident/occurrence. On the other hand, corporations exploit the multiplicity of that same event/incident/occurrence. WTF AM I TALKIN ABOUT? Look at corporations... they see one network puts on a reality tv show about some topic: cooking, fighting, relationships, drugs, cops, celebrities, what ever... The corporations don't complain that one of their rivals are behaving poorly, they put out their own version of that same show! WTF AM I TALKIN ABOUT? All these people with problems and negative opinions about "The Real Baby Mamas of Richmoond" ... produce your own show and do it how it should be done (according to you).. otherwise ..you really are just a yakkity yakkin hater and you are helping the ratings of that show you swear is "reprehensible" and "ratchet" Often times we get too cuaught up in the "one-ness" of a event/incident/occurrence. Musicians Might Feel This More: Commitment Myths

People think there's this "special one" out there JUST for them... It's a ridiculous lie that society teaches us. It's no more real than Santa Clause, the tooth fairy, the Easter bunny, and white jesus! The truth is there are thousands of "right" ones, hundreds of "soul-mates" and at least a few dozen "special-significant-others" -- the question is whether or not you trick yourself into believing you only deserve (or are allowed) one such partner. I'm not hatin on your decision, but at least be honest and realistic about it. Yes it is better for certain elements of society that people believe in one-on-one long lasting relationships (safe sex, fewer std's, family structure stability for children) but these social concens do not trump human nature. Amidst all these preferences, society still creates a world where multiple partners, muliple marriages still exist. They always have and they always will, until man as a species evolves into something better. When that happen, scientists will probably give a new name to the "the human" as of now we are all homo-sapiens (as opposed to homo-erectus, or neanderthal, etc.) Earthling culture and earthling nature is locked into a multiple-partner reality, whether we like it or not. People will ALWAYS seek "others" - boyfriend/girlfriend mistress/secret lovers polygamy polygynny

Most cultures are realistic and understand this; however most "xtian" cultures scream the negatives about this reality, and continue to the heights of its ability to maintain these realities. All I am saying is that if people were perfect, there could be a perfect reality of "life long committment" but we are far from that. It has nothing to do with "settling" as some say. This arguement is foolish because it tricks the speaker (and those who believe it) into thinking that they are "doing something" noble in order to find that ONE. That ONE doesn't exist!

Let 'em KeepHatin

Not every body "on your team" ACTUALLY wants to make it... or even see YOU make it. why? cuz for one success brings change. CHANGE is scary. ITS MORE COMFORTABLE to not make it, and complain about what culda been. than to strike it rich and have to deal with all the problems that come with it (Biggie won't lieing) Example1: Let's say you got a wifey, a wife, a main chick, a down azz broad, a bottom beeEYEitch or what ever stupid name we give to the women that hold us down these days. Now some of these ladies will even work on our behalf to get us to that "status" - but some will not. Why wouldn't they? Because they have their eyes on the here and now. As wild as we tend to treat women these days (makin them suffer through our lapses of judgement when it comes to lust, especially) . . . they know things would only get worse if we went from brokeAZphuck TO WIZKHALIFAH-BLOWEDUP mega-rich (or something in the general ball park). So while they might fantasize about all the money that would be coming in, they know just as Biggie said, mo money mo problems. Don't tell me I'm wrong when all the reality tvshows that we are addicted to keep showing just how crazy life gets when a person is so loaded up with money they can't seem to spend it all, despite their best efforts to liquidate those assets (short of forking it all over to the IRS) Those "wifey" status chicks of ours would be better off if we don't make it and they just get to chime in with the vigorous fervor of support (as fake as plastic tits) "keep at it boo . . you gon get there" ....All the while thanking their lucky stars that you "still in the crib" not out on tour travelling all across the country or the globe THINK ABOUT IT! (and while you mauling that over, don't forget to drop me a line on the video KEEP HATIN KEEP HATIN dedicated to them HATERS ON YA TEAM ) http://www.bit.ly/keephatin --
