I have this urge to blog my recent gig at the Well house! so here tis. Sunday night last, turned up to set up at 7, not a soul in the pub, apart from the resident ghost down in the cellar. I'm thinking omg this is gonna be the quietest ever! Turns out to be one of my best nights as most tables were occupied by the time I was into the third number. The nicest thing tho, is that I included all six of my new songs destined for my EP/Album out soon and they went down so well, the audience was too good to be true, enthusiastic for the new songs and just there to listen, which gives me such impetus as a songwriter & performer! This is the first time I have felt so relaxed with playing a collection of my own songs during a gig. It was also great to play "Halleluja" whilst the window I was playing
in gave an awesome backdrop of Exeter cathedral in all it's glory, I know the lyrics of the song don't quite apply but it seemed to work nicely :) Ah well thats my urge satisfied!Just a lovely gig..that's all really.
