This Sunday Rich, Chris and Jeremy will spend some time in the studio rehearsing tracks for are upcoming Oceans EP.
The song Oceans is pretty much there, and we are 80% there with another song called Radical Citizens.
The 2 other tracks on the EP will be Shiny Black Star and A Scream In The Dark. Rich did an acoustic version of Shiny Black Star on the first night of the Munk Tour, so it's not a completely unknown track to some of our fans.
We also hope to do a video for Oceans and we are planning to shoot it before the end of the year. Rich will be directing it and it will be set in a forest and will feature masks...but that's all we are giving away at this point.
Exciting times ahead.

Rich and Chris are planning to get back in the studio from November to start working on some new songs. The band has already written and performed (at Tribal Rock 10.10) one of the newer songs.
'Oceans' is the first Inside Neon track written by all members of the band (Loffman/Meggitt/York). Previously all tracks have been written by Rich Loffman. Oceans is the band's tribute to the big blue that surrounds us all and is a call to get us to all believe that if we don't do something about the mess we find the oceans in right now we might just find ourselves in real serious trouble very soon.
This track, along with 3 other new songs, will form the basis of a new EP that will be out early 2011.

The word Munk is a fusion of the words punk and metal. We feel this best describes our music. But you are all free to make up your own minds. The album is our expression of living life as expats in Japan. Our observations, frustrations and reflections are all here.
