Expect breathy vocals mixed with a guitar onslaught of post-punk attack, swingin’ 60’s attitude and 70’s guitar experimentation. Penny Ikinger wows her audiences at home and beyond and here is your chance to see her in full flight with her new band.
Support from the evening is Winter Sun. They are as heavy as the moon. Oceanic bass lumbers under gargantuan guitar. Drums soar from percussion to mechanical beats. The line up on COLD HARVEST is Garry Gray Mark Ferrie, Terry Doolan, Stephan Fidock , Spencer P Jones, Nick Riscbieth and myself.
This 2021 release kicks off online and is the full and complete realisation of the fourth Sacred Cowboys album, COLD HARVEST It includes a previously unreleased track, called The Ingathering, recorded in 2008. 'Things to Come', was the original title of this album. It was released in July 1996 by Shock Records.
It’s a really fabulous album in so many ways - in the song writing, the singing & playing, and the production. I was very proud to play on it.

Revered gig and festival booker Rich Moffat has programmed a special treat for longstanding Melbourne music lovers with a Punters Club Reunion Gig – paying homage to the iconic venue once located where Bimbo is today on Brunswick Street.
You read correctly… on Sunday July 18 at Fitzroy Mills, the likes of Angie Hart (Frente), Bodyjar, Dallas Crane and The Meanies will come together to celebrate the Punters Club scene from the ’80s and ’90s.
