The Molotov's New Line-Up

For those who haven’t seen or heard the new line-up of The Molotov, we’re similar but not the same as we were.

The sound is heavier, more developed and utilises the multi-vocals & instruments as well as the different shades of Jayde’s voice. There is more variation & melody in the tunes, more harmony, passion and direction in the vocals and lyrics and, we are told, the live shows are more intense & engaging.

In short we’re like an evolving animal, built on the bones of the contributions of past members, and grateful to them for it, but taken to another level & a greater intensity.

We will soon be releasing the ROBOTS single/video, including our own distinct cover of “Zombie” (by The Cranberries) & a new re-release of “Go Back To Sleep”. We will then begin recording our 12/13 track Album, loosely titled “Soundtrack To A Revolution”.

We hope you’ll get a chance to catch us live soon.

Keep kickin Jayde, Scart, Dan, Claire & Paul. The_MOLOTOV

Songs About Change Are Nice BUT.....

from SCART: “After a discussion with a fellow U.S. muso I realized this needs to be said as it took me many years to realize it fully myself.

Songs, Artwork & Films ABOUT change are great but they are NOT the actual change it’s self. If you want that, you’ll need to get your hands dirty. Singing, writing, listening, watching & creating songs, art & music that advocate a better world is noble but is NEVER a substitute for actually going out and making that happen, whether as an individual or as part of a movement.

People have different ideas about what kind of changes they want in the world so the following are some possible starting points, depending on your ideas & locations.

Music, Art & Ideas can change PEOPLE and PEOPLE can change the world but it takes ACTION, not passive consumption.

‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing’

i.e: All the bad guys need to win is for us to keep sitting on our apathetic arses.

Up to you. Keep kickin' sisters & brothers.”
