I Garden Wall sbarcano sulla stampa nazionale!!! Sabato scorso su Alias, supplemento culturale de Il Manifesto, è uscita una bellissima recensione del nostro ultimo album "Assurdo"!

GARDEN WALL ASSURDO (Lizard/Btf)

****° Prendete tutti gli stereotipi che affliggono il metal: ripetitività, dinamiche velocissime che alla fine sembrano stasi, incapacità di pensare altro che l'alternarsi di ballad e esplosioni sonore. Adesso rovesciateli, e avrete l'incredibile metal dei friulani Garden Wall, qui all'ottavo album, ospite il jazzista Massimo De Mattia: allucinati paesaggi trip hop, echi dell'art rock più nobile, ambient, fratture soniche e math rock come potrebbe pensarli Mr. Robert Fripp. E ancora: chitarre di fiamma, ma anche vibrafoni alla Gentle Giant e Tortoise. Tutto questo, e molto altro ancora. Altro che noia. (g.fe.)

The new album "Assurdo" is available on Lizard Records. It's the third and closing chapter of an ideal trilogy, started with "Forget the colours" and continued with "Towards the silence", and a huge revolution in the band's sound.

Here's the tracklist:
