Hey Red Abbey fans!

It's hard to believe it's already the end of August...We had an amazing time coming back to the East Coast last wk, great show at Whiskey Bar and Sullivan Hall. It was nice to reconnect with our NY fans/friends. we plan on coming back again early November of this year.

We're very excited, our drummer from SF has just moved out to Vegas this wk, and the band is sounding tighter than ever. This Wednesday is the first wk of our fall residency at Mcfadden's in the Rio Casino. We have many more shows that are in the works, stay tuned with updates in our calendar.

And now it is almost 1am...early for rockstars but we have another big day ahead of us tomorrow :).

Much love, keep it rockin'

Red Abbey

another all nighter

Hey Red Abbey fans!

Right now it's a little after midnight, we are sitting in our living rm trying to figure out how to pack for our tour/shows on the East Coast without having to check in any bags. This is probably one of the funniest things we've done (in Red Abbey history)- packing underwear and socks in violin cases, ties and shirts in guitar cases make-up and shoes with amps lol...the struggles of a poor musician. It may seem like a little extreme but I think it may just work! So excited, can't wait to be back in NYC with our friends and fans, playing this coming Friday at Sullivan Hall- go to this link for details and to RSVP: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=121308624583303&ref=mf

We love you guys, see all you East Coast fans soon!

Keep it rockin'-

late night 8/10

Today was our night off, no practice, no rehearsal yet still here listening to music. It's funny how the simplest of songs can be inspiring to us in song and music. Sitting here playing Bruce Sprinstein, Bob Marley even Kings of Leon, all of it is inspiring to us to keep doing what we're doing. Springstein's song says "working on a dream"- we are just doing that...everyday is a struggle but everyday we keep pushing through, trying to keep doing what we love- sharing with our fans our music. We love you guys, keep it rockin'.

Red Abbey photoshoot 8/8!

Hey Red Abbey fans! We had such an amazing photoshoot today, thanks to http://www.leealpertphotography.com! Photoshoot was for our full length album " The Day After," that will be coming out later this fall. The idea of the album is after a long night of partying and rocking out a show we wake up in the desert not knowing what happened, hence the title " The Day After." Ironically that is almost what happened to us last night, we played an amazing show the outside stage at Vegas's Beauty bar, than hopped into our car- driving through the night with no sleep and arrived in the Mojave desert at 6am for our photoshoot. We may have some sneak peeks of our photoshoot available in the next few days, so stay tuned!

Keep it rockin'

8/3/10

Hey Red Abbey fans! It's been a crazy last few weeks for us! We've been playing in many shows in Vegas including Wasted Space where we opened up for Funeral Party and New Politics. Last week was nice, we had somewhat of a week off and went to Virginia for a wedding, just came back to Vegas on Monday. Today was a great day, had a meeting at Mcfadden's in the Rio Casino- we're looking to do a residency and play there every thursday of the month starting at the end of August. We should have our August newsletter done and sent out tonight, if you're not part of our email list yet you can go to www.reverbnation.com/redabbey to sign up and get a free download of our hit song "Broken Heart." As for right now we're taking a break, eating some pizza :) and listening to some music before heading off to rehearsal. Stay tuned for tomorrow's blog.

Peace and Love-

Red Abbey
