love is the reason

This is a song dedicated to my Great great grandfather. He set sail on a whaing ship, somehow wound up in New York, joined the army in Kansas, went to Utah, deserted to join the mormon church. What a life!

Cynthia's Moon

This song was one I really can't claim credit for. I got up one morning, and it just spilled out on to the page. One of those gifts from God you get every once in a while. Being a sad song would tell you that it is a true story. Cynthia really did look up at the moon while we were riding in a buggy on a stary night, "She looked up and said, that ol' moon belongs to me", is a direct quote. I didn't think much of the song, and I didn't play it for a long time. When I did, I got all kinds of great feed back. It was about that time I quit trying to decide what was good or bad, that is up to just about everybody but me.

Inside Job

I wrote this song with a dear friend via email. She was in california. She sent me this amazing lyric and melody via cassette.(long time ago) I came up with the chorus and used her verse lyric in it. Then I came up with the bolted shut doors. Tia sang this song 9 years ago, and I recorded in on an ADAT, but I sill believe in it. It gets to four or five on the charts. I can't prove it yet but I can sure see it. It pays to write with a fabulous writer like Cathy Jenzsh.

band members

As with any good music project, it takes a lot of very talented people to make it right. I am a singer songwriter so my "band" is whomever I can get in to the studio to help make the songs stronger, I have been very fortunate. I was lucky enough to get Leslie Ellis to sing on "think it over" she is a grammy award winner, so I'm still shaking my head about it, I think you'll agree she is one of the best. Tia Mcgraff sings twice on this record. In a duet with me on "Especially Tonight" and on "Inside Job". She sang this for me about 9 years ago and I've learned a few things since then, but it keeps going in to my work, because she knocked it out of the park. Sean O'shea Just showed up at my house one day with a friend and I said, "you would be great on this". 15 minutes latter we had his vocal on "You're the Reason Why". To say he sings with heart is a huge understatement. Frankie Staton, Voice of velvet is what comes to my mind. she came in one day did "Dose of you" 3 weeks later I have duet with her on the song, it's a fun way to say I love you very much.

Body In Motion

This song song came from a dancer I once knew. She was completely gorgeous and being a male, I was inspired by her. She used to keep her clothes completely on and danced in different nightclubs around my home town. She had whatever it is that makes men carve on the side of a cave, in my case create a piece of music. My next trick is to get it into a movie about dancing or models, Maybe an excersize video
