The promo singles from my upcoming album was released in the fourth week of June 2010. La Le Le Friday, The Ace Is Here and Je Ka Lo were singles picked out to be promoted.
It debuted earlier on the Play Radio Show. The Beat 99.9 FM on the 20th Of June. An interview followed the week after on the same show.
They have since been receiving airplay on all major radio stations in Lagos with La Le Le Friday as the lead single off the debut album. It’s a feel good dance track which tells a story of goes on every friday night.
The Ace Is Here is the first track on the promo CD and is a very introductory track with a motive to telling it all about Ace. Wrapped around drums, kicks and repeated brass synths. The chorus is delivered in a military chant sound.
I have taken time to create the content in all the tracks drawing from pure inspiration to entertain and pass a message. The album has since been recorded starting in March 2010 and ended three months later. 95 % was produced by Seyi “Shizzi” Akerele and all tracks co-produced by myself.
I’m now under management with Play Music, a division of PlayCenter Nigeria a multi media and entertainment company.
