Short and sweet here people.I got that DJ itch.Last night when I was at my buddy Shane's place,he was messing around with the virtual decks.Just a way to kill sometime before heading out for some bevarages. He was rocking up some good mashes on the decks.Sitting there watching him I could tell he was having a blast.Ever since I having been craving to hit the decks myself. So once I'm done spilling my guts here on the blog I'm gonna get the decks fired up and hopefully lose myself in the music for a good while.

Whats up all?Well It looks like a fresh start for the Silkster.I was having issues with my PC (The heart and soul of my music making). The damn thing was running terrible preventing me to able to work on some new and existing material. It looked like it was time to melt it down and start over.Only problem was formating it would have caused me to lose all my crutial data for my music projects. That was really not sitting well with me one bit.I had become very careless when it came to keeping this important data backed up and organized in case I would run into this type of scenario.I thought what do I do now?Well I had come up with a solution that might have turned out to be one of the best ideas to come out of my deep fried brain. I decided maybe I should invest in a whole new PC and keep the old one running so I can spend the proper time going over it and hopefully be able to copy the proper stuff over to the new one.Luckily I had enough pesos kicking around in the piggy bank to get myself a newer, faster, and more reliable machine. The old PC was a tank and was over four years old anyway plus I had already had to replace the motherboard in that one a couple years into it.

Hello all. This is the first blog that I have ever written anywhere so it might just be a big written piece of crap.Anyhow first thing I would like to say is I would like to welcome myself to this reverbnation site.To me it seems like a good and free way to get my music out for people to hear and hopefully enjoy.I am really going to make an effort to get more stuff out for all the people out there.wether it it be original tunes or remixes, again I hope people enjoy what I am doing.Making electronic music is what I really love to do.I enjoy every moment that I spend in the studio messing around with beats and sounds. Even when things are not gelling in the studio I still love being there.I wish that someday that could be what I do on a permanent basis. No more going to a job where you are told what to do and how to do it.To me the freedom to express yourself creativley is one ultimate things a person can have in life. I cherish that freedom.I feel as long you aren't hurting yourself or anyone else than why not do what you love to do. Well now that I got that of my chest I will quit boring everyone and end my first blog with a quote I have heard many of time."You are only as good as you really think you are"
Peace out
