Very excited about the album project this year and we now have three song ideas virtually complete. 'Stand and Stare' is influenced by the famous poem 'Leisure' by William Henry Davies. He was an adventurer and a bit of a rebel and I'm inspired by the way he lived his life and very excited by this song. 'Our Time is Now' is a laid back summery groove with a lilting tenor sax melody line. I loved playing this publicly for the first time last sunday during my gig at the Strand in Cheltenham. The third tune has a kind of New York style hip-hop feel, 'Tell Me Like It Is' with its soulful melody is reminiscent of a Brecker Brothers feel. Anyhow, back to work!

Today I had a great meeting to go through my live sound set up. The tutorial I received was comprehensive but wonderfully comprehend able! Thanks so much to Omni-D Productions. The varying types of microphone that I use for different applications have to be set up uniquely in order to create the best live sound I can achieve. So I'm looking forward to hearing the improvement in my next gig on the 16th. Quietly excited.....
