So I've uploaded the demo to my track Doorz on a couple of sites. Being pedantic I think I may need to rework the beat. I like the chorus & I can hear potential in my song but something is missing.
My voice definitely work better with some beats. I want to strip the beat down & start again which I did with both "Ever Keen" and "Please Don't Stand In my way".
All I can say is have patience with me we're getting there. 😜

Still working on my new song which is now taking shape. I now know what the song is going to be about and I have the music, melody and some lyrics. It's now about developing the track. If all goes well, I may go into the studio and record the demo next month.

My aim is to go into the studio in September with my new track "Sowing" Most of the music is there but I do need to add lyrics to the verses. I am looking for a good studio in the London area. This will be the last track I hope to rap on. After "Sowing" I will work with session singers. I want to focus more on writing songs.

Just noticed today that someone in America bought my track "This My Beat" on Itunes. Wow I was so overwhelmed that I started to cry. I met a producer/studio owner recently who heard a few of my songs and couldn't understand why I wasn't more successful in music. Maybe after all the knock backs over the years I lack confidence. Today is a special day for me. Thank you world for your support.

I am thankful for the experience of making This My Beat. It has help me get more likes on Facebook and twitter followers however it times to write something new. This My Beat was a break out song about me music and the attacks I have had about my music in the past " Dis my beat don't dis my beat cause this my beat" What should I write about next is the question? I need to write a track that everyone can relate to. Hmmm. Deep down I know the world is pretty negative at the moment with the global recession and all( I watch a lot of news) I need a up beat track. I am not sure whether to write a rap to one of my instrumentals like Quiet storm or to start from scratch. What I do know is I must not lose track of the journey I am on. I have realised for things to happen you need to make things happen.
