This past month has seen some interesting developments. Longtime friend and cohort Jim Hurley has left the fold, being replaced by Jarad Kleinstein. Jarad brings his considerable drumability to the group, he's a graduate of Roosevelt University Music Program, a drum teacher and an incredible complement to us all. We're tooling up, adding songs to the repertoire and are very excited.
We've also decided to go back to our roots for our side project, WhatEverly Bros show...as well as go back to our original name. You'll see us out there at THE EVERLY HILLBILLIES once again. Jarad's precision and ability to play all those great Buddy Harmon licks brings a new dimension to the Everly songbook. Rich Maisel, our guru-in-residence is a wild combination of Chet Atkins and Les Paul, just and amazing guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Carl Lubicz, old friend and collaborator schleps the doghouse around and absolutely kills the low end. Then there's me and Jeff thrashing and singing.
It's all good. See you out there soon, I hope.
