Wow, so March 2012 has been amazing, in both good and not so great ways. If we focus on our musical project it has been great. Below And Through is finally released, we've been working on it since October of last year, so it's really satisfying to finally have it out there. Sharing our music with everyone is so fun after we put our heart in soul into thsi project and the really nice thing for me personally is the fact that Damian and Steve both really got involved in this project and we also got the helping hand from Danelly and Lily, and it has just been really great.
A big shout out to everyone who has been so supportive about our creative outlet, and to all the bands out there who just keep trucking along and sharing the art. We hope everyone enjoys listening to our songs as much as we've enjoyed the process of creating it. Our new album is now available for sale via our Reverbnation store. You can download the collection of songs for $3.99 or buy the physical CD for $5.99 and it only takes a couple of days to arrive in your home. Beautiful photography by Danelly Rivera, and a big thank you as well to Sophie Rimmele who helped in the translating of one of our songs. Here's to a fantastic end to March and hoping April will treat us well as well! BR of RB

Okay, so here we were hoping Feb 2012 would be a little more calm than January which was filled with bad news and craziness. Feb has been just as crazy but not too bad. One major highlight has been the return of the "high plains drifter" Paul Villagran who had been absent since 2006 when he took off to Peru and got married.
Since Paul's return, many a perspective has been affected, and it kinds of feels like old times around here. Paul and I once formed a band named Maksoor Alb, and played all kinds of tunes from Rock Americana to Flamenco, mainly focused on love songs, and since Paul's return, it feels like we haven't missed a step. It has been very inspiring to work with him on music again and I hope we get to record a little something before he goes back. It has also been really great to see so many old friends whom I haven't seen in years. So, even though this month has had its ups an downs, I think it will be okay.
Musically, RB is doing good. Our newest album Below And Through is on its final legs, with just a couple of songs left to record, and the only thing we are recording is Steve's guitar tracks. I think everyone will be pleased with our new tunes. We can't wait to share our newest songs with everyone. One more thing, honorary River Blindian Agustin Antonio is also in the process of recording some music with me too, and of all things, a Spanish version of a Green Day song! Sounds awesome right? I think so. We hope we make all of you proud. Well. Here's to a couple more weeks of Feb 12, hoping that it is as great for all of you as it has been for us. Much love! BR of RB

So, January is almost on schedule, it has been incredibly productive although now it feels like we've got more work to do instead of less. Damian has made a huge sacrifice and come all the way from New York, to spend some time in the studio and he took the lead in taking band pictures. Thanks to Steve we've got some great pics coming your way and he also took time from a super busy schedule to work on RB stuff. A big shout out to Danelly who has been promoted from graphic/arts expert to vocalist and translator. January rocks, one of our best months ever and we also have our listeners to thank. We hope you are all having a great January too!
