Being a muso is great! But is far from easy. When people listen to music on the radio most of them don't have any idea how long it takes to get there. I mean, before the radio, we musicians(artists)needed to: Learn music theory, develop our talent (some guys are gifted I know), learn how to play an instrument(s), meet cool people, form a band, rehearse, make and learn music, keep your band together (fighting egos),improve your playing all the time, find places to play, pay to play, being underpaid to play, kiss people ass's to play and so on...
After all these things, lots of work, loads of spending cash and a litle luck maybe we can put a song on the radio.
I just don't know why after centuries of good services for the humanity, being famous or not, playing for a full stadium or in a little pub, playing classical, jazz, pop or country we musicians still need to prove our value. Thanks Rod.
